Beyond Talk: Learn how to unlock deeper breakthroughs for your clients through play.

Most people struggle to express what's beneath the surface. What they feel, what they want. And maybe they really don't know because they are stuck in the rational part of their brain and overthinking. You ask your client questions. But they struggle to answer. You go in circles.
They have done the work. They show up, they reflect, they articulate their patterns beautifully. And yet something stays frozen. The insight is there but the shift is not.
This is not a client problem. This is what happens when we reach the limits of language.
Talk-based methods are powerful. And they have a ceiling. When a client cannot find the words for what they are experiencing, because it lives somewhere deeper than language, no amount of clever questioning will reach it.
There is another way in. Through the hands and play.

Lego Serious Play is a hands-on method backed by neuroscience that uses building as a way of thinking. Instead of talking about a problem or feelings, clients build models that represent their thoughts, emotions, and patterns. What comes out is deeper, more honest, and more revealing than what words alone would have produced. The method has been around for over 20 years, grounded in neuroscience, psychology, and play theory.
What started as a corporate strategy tool used by companies like Google, Microsoft, and Coca-Cola has grown into something much broader. Today, it is used in coaching, therapy, couples work, family therapy, education, and leadership development.
Most of the time, when we answer a question, we answer from our rational mind. The analytical brain kicks in, filters what we say, protects us from what we are not ready to face, and gives us the version of the truth we have already rehearsed. It is fast, familiar, and it often keeps us exactly where we are.
Lego Serious Play activates a different part of the brain entirely. When the hands start building, the analytical filter quietens. The parts of the brain connected to emotion, memory, identity, and intuition engage. What emerges through the model is often something the person did not know they knew. Insights that months of talking had not reached, surfacing in minutes through building.
Clients stop overthinking. They stop performing. They stop giving the answer they think they should give. Instead, they build, and then they discover what the build is telling them. In a group context like couples, families, or teams, something equally powerful happens. Participants communicate through their models rather than directly with each other. This keeps the conversation at a meta level, which is exactly where you need to be when the topic is emotionally charged. People listen more deeply. They see each other differently. The models become a shared language that bypasses defensiveness and creates genuine understanding.
It is one of the most versatile methods available to a coach or therapist today. And once you have it, you will find yourself reaching for it again and again.

Most Lego Serious Play certifications teach you the generic method, and you have to adapt it for your work. This training is customized to coaching & therapy sessions. It is designed exclusively for coaches and therapists. Every exercise and question design is rooted in the specific challenges of 1:1 and small group work. You will learn how to use the method for the exact situations you face with clients — not hypothetical corporate scenarios.Day 2 of the program is in person. You will have Lego in your hands, real scenarios in front of you, and a small group of peers to practice with. Learning an embodied method requires an embodied experience.
It is a hands-on learning experience where you get real feedback, real practice, and real support.
You will not just learn the method technically. You will experience it yourself — exploring your own patterns, your own blocks, your own clarity. You will leave not just with a new tool but with a new understanding of yourself as a practitioner. The goal is that you immediately feel ready and confident enough to use the method with your clients.

Hi, I'm Natalie Kirkoroglu the founder of Playshifts.
I am a certified Lego Serious Play facilitator, conflict mediator, trainer, and change consultant. Over 15 years, I have worked with leaders, teams, and individuals across Europe, and I use LSP not just to teach it but in my own practice. I have seen a client get unstuck in 45 minutes after months of circling the same question. That is why I created this training. Built around the specific work that coaches and therapists do. Not a generic certification. A real, practical, embodied experience.
